Privacy and Data Settings

You have control over your privacy preferences in NaviGuide.

Accessing Privacy Settings

  1. Go to Settings from your profile menu
  2. Select the Privacy tab

Profile Visibility

Control who can see your personality profiles:

  • Private — Only you can see the profile
  • Connections — People you're connected with can view it
  • Public — Anyone with the link can view it

You can set visibility per profile from the profile detail page or the sharing dialog.

Your Data

NaviGuide stores:

  • Account Info Your name and email address
  • Quiz Data Responses and results from assessments
  • Chat History Conversations with StarGuide
  • Team Data Your memberships and shared profiles
  • Connection Data Your connections and sharing history

Notification Preferences

Control how NaviGuide communicates with you from the Notifications tab:

  • Email notifications — Updates about shares, invitations, and activity
  • Push notifications — Real-time alerts on your device
  • In-app messages — Notifications within NaviGuide

Appearance

Customize the look of NaviGuide from the Appearance tab:

  • Choose between light and dark mode
  • Set to follow your system preferences
