Managing Team Members

Keep your team running smoothly by managing membership, roles, and permissions.

Viewing Members

Access the Members tab on your team page to see:

  • Member names and emails
  • Their role (Owner, Admin, or Member)
  • Billing access badge — if they can manage subscriptions
  • Pending invitations — who hasn't joined yet

Changing Roles

Owners and admins can change member roles via the options menu on each member:

  • Promote to Admin — give them member management permissions
  • Demote to Member — remove admin permissions
  • Grant Billing Access — allow them to manage subscriptions and licenses
  • Revoke Billing Access — restrict subscription management

Removing Members

If someone needs to leave the team:

  1. Open the member's options menu
  2. Click "Remove from Team"
  3. Confirm the removal
📝 Note

Removed members lose access to team profiles but keep their personal NaviGuide account and all their own data. Their seat license is freed up for another member.

Leaving a Team

Members can leave a team anytime from the team page using the "Leave Team" option in the danger zone section.

⚠️ Important

Team owners cannot leave — they must transfer ownership or delete the team. Deleting a team is permanent and removes all team data.
