Manage your team's subscription, add or reduce seats, and assign licenses to members.
Team Subscriptions and Seat Management
Team subscriptions in NaviGuide are seat-based — each member needs a license to participate. Here's how to manage your team's subscription.
Understanding Seats
Your team subscription includes a certain number of seats:
- Total Seats The number of licenses you're paying for
- Assigned Seats Licenses currently given to team members
- Available Seats Unassigned licenses ready for new members
Adding Seats
Need more room for your growing team?
- Go to your team page and open the Licenses tab
- Click "Add Seats"
- Enter the number of additional seats
- Confirm — the cost is prorated to your current billing cycle
Reducing Seats
If you need fewer seats:
- Open the Licenses tab
- Click "Reduce Seats"
- Enter the new total (minimum 2 seats, and cannot go below currently assigned count)
- Confirm — the reduction takes effect at the end of your billing cycle
Seat reductions are scheduled, not immediate. You can cancel a pending reduction before it takes effect.
Assigning and Revoking Licenses
In the Licenses tab, you can manage individual member licenses:
- Assign a license to a team member who doesn't have one
- Revoke a license from a member to free up the seat
- Assign All to bulk-assign licenses to all unlicensed members
Trial Subscriptions
If your team is on a trial, you'll see a banner showing your trial end date. When the trial expires, you'll need to set up a paid subscription to continue using team features.
Converting from Individual to Team
If you have an individual subscription and want to create a team:
- Go to Settings > Plan tab
- Click "Convert to Team Plan"
- Enter your team name, seat count, and billing interval
- Confirm the conversion
